I'm Jessica and I am a veterinary assistant and a proud owner of 2 dogs - Punkie and Belle. I love animals and I enjoy working with them. As a veterinary assistant and pet owner I realized that some pets just don't respond well to boarding. I also know that going on vacation or out of town on business can leave pet owners in a quandary as to what to do with their pets.

Sometimes it is difficult to arrange for a family member or friend to come by and care for your animals while you're away. And when you can, you may have some concern that your pets will not receive the proper attention or care. Most of the time though you just hate imposing on anyone by asking them to care for your pets.

Removing pets from their natural surroundings and putting them into a boarding facility can have negative effects. Some animals can develop separation anxiety, which could make it difficult for you to leave the house in the future for even a short time. Your pet could also be exposed to various health hazards.
